Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1st July 2026 · Perision Ltd
This policy sets out how Perision Ltd collects, uses and protects personal data. It covers people who visit our website, people who contact us, and the business prospects we reach out to for our clients. We are based in the United Kingdom and follow UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Perision Ltd (company number [Company No.]) of [registered address] is responsible for the personal data described here. For any question about this policy or your data, write to us at hello@perision.co.uk.
The data we collect
From visitors and enquiries
The name, work email and message you send through our contact form, and basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, collected through cookies and analytics.
From business prospects
When we run outreach for a client, we process business contact details such as a person’s name, job title, employer, work email address, work phone number and publicly available professional information.
How we collect it
We collect data directly from you when you contact us, automatically through cookies when you use the site, and from public or licensed sources such as company websites, professional networks and business directories when we research prospects for a client.
Why we use your data, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and send information you ask for. Our basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding.
- To deliver our service to clients, including research, outreach, qualification and scheduling. Our basis is our legitimate interest and the performance of our contract with the client.
- To contact business prospects for a client. Our basis is our legitimate interest in promoting relevant business services, weighed against the rights of the people we contact. We keep this balance under review and stop contacting anyone who asks us to.
- To keep records, meet legal duties and protect our systems. Our basis is legal obligation and legitimate interest.
Our role when we work for clients
When we carry out outreach for a client, both Perision and the client may have duties under data protection law. Depending on the arrangement, we act as a processor following the client’s instructions, or we share responsibility as joint controllers. The agreement we hold with each client sets out who does what.
Messages and your right to object
We send business messages in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). Every message gives a clear way to opt out, and we act on opt outs without delay.
Who we share data with
We share data only where it is needed: with service providers who help us run our business (for example hosting, email, customer records and analytics), with the client whose work we carried out, and with advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
Storing data outside the UK
Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we put approved safeguards in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent terms.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, to meet legal duties, or to resolve disputes. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to our use of it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, write to hello@perision.co.uk. We respond within one month.
Changes and complaints
We may update this policy, and the date at the top shows when we last did. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
